Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a carefully tooled rim and Three Large Brushed Cobalt Leaaves Around Middle. Stands 12 3/4" tall.
Excellent condition. A minor 316" nibble on the rim. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A surface-only drying/firing line on the bottom in the making.
It is hard to find stoneware in such good condition.
