Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Decorated Stoneware Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim for Ease of Tying Over a Cover, and Three Large Brushed Florals in Dark and Bright Cobalt Blue.  Each flower has two large and differently shaped leaves and a clover blossom.  Stands 12" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A network of surface lines, mainly inside and on the rim from the drying or firing.  Not cracks.  One at the rim appears to be a hairline, but stops on the other side of the rim (closeup).  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A recess in one flower in the making.
