Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1860, this beauty features a Slightly Ovoid Shape, Squared Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Applied Handles, and Two Sideways Tulips Greeting Each Other on Each Side.  The tulips are brushed on with dark and rich cobalt.  They have 6 to 8 leaves and 4 to 5 petals.  Stands 9 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple pinhead-size nibbles inside the rim, a 3/8" flake on top of the rim, and a 1/2" chip under one handle.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
