Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1860, this beauty features a Larger Size, Tooled Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, and a Double Brushed Cobalt Floral on Each Side with "Three Leaf Clover" Blossoms.   Bright Cobalt!  Measures 8" tall and 11 1/4" wide across the top.  The lid fits perfectly and has four stripes around the outside edge.  
 
Very Good Condition. A dozen chips around the outside of the rim (1/8" to 3/4") and a 4" vertical hairline inside at the bottom that shows 2" outside (closeups). No inner rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid has four chips on the underside edge and seating ring (1/2" to 1") and some exfoliation on the the outer edge 1".  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
