Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.  
 
Circa 1860, this beauty features a Carefully Tooled Rim for Ease of Tying a Covering over the Top, and a Garland of 4 Sideways Tulips-- Three with Leaves and One as a Simple Blossom.  The decoration is brushed on with dark and shiny cobalt by a skilled hand.  Stands 10 12" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A small stone ping on one side in the making.
