Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made in Baltimore Maryland.
 
Dating around 1850, this beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim with Deep Groove for Tying a Cover Over the Top, and a Garland of Freehand Vining and 4 Dangling Tulips around the Shoulder.  It took 48 brushstrokes of cobalt to make the decoration.   Stands 10 1/4" tall. 
 
Good Condition.  Four small chips on the rim (1/8" to 1/4"), a 1 1/2" chip on the underside near the edge (bottom picture), and some scratches down one side (picture 4). No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
