Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 5 Gallon Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features a Garland of Vining with 4 Flowers and a Bud Cascading Across One Side and Comma Vining with 3 Dangling Tulips on the Other.  Additional cobalt at the handle terminals.  Stands 15 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1/2" chip on the outside of the spout and a Y-shaped hairline on the bottom.  No inner rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Drying or firing lines inside at the rim in the making (closeup 1).  Surface lines on the rim and near the base on one side that are not visible inside and come from age or the firing process (closeups 2-3).
