Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "C. Hermann & Co., Milwaukee." 
 
This is the work of Charles Hermann who founded a pottery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1856 and ran it until 1882 when his stepson, Louis Pierron, took over (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 147).  
 
This beauty features a Tooled Rim with Inner Seating Ring for a Lid, Honey-Colored Glaze, and the Company Name Stamped on the  Shoulder.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
