Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "A. P. Donoghho, Parkersburg, W. Va."
 
Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
 
Notice the misspelling on this one: Donoghho rather than Donaghho.  Must have been a Monday morning product!
 
This beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim with Groove for Pouring the Wax to Seal a Tin Lid Over the Top, and the Company Advertising Fully Stenciled on the Front.  Stands 8" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple minor nibbles inside the rim.  Otherwise, as made.  A 1 1/4" vertical line at the base below "Va" that is a drying/firing line in the making.
