Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar made and stamped by the "Donaghho Co., Parkersburg."
 
This is the work of A. P. Donaghho who ran his pottery in Parkersburg, West Virginia from 1874-1900.
 
This beauty features the Capacity Number "4" Flanked by a Triangle of 9 Dots, and the Company Advertising Stenciled Across the Front in 1" and 3/4" Letters. All the decoration is executed with crisp stenciling and strong cobalt on a light gray glaze for strong contrast. Stands 14 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two chips inside the rim (1/4", 3/4"), chips under each handle, and some scattered small stains.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
