Item 12573

Coming to you is this unusual Stoneware Bottle with Paper Label.

The bottle dates to the middle of the 19th century, while the label dates around 1900 to 1920.  Don't know how they got married, but they look good together.

The label reads, "Singer's Celery Beverage, Manufactured by M. Singer & Son, 5-6 Van Houten St., Paterson, N.J. Telephone-Sherwood 2-7335."  The fine print reads, "Filtered carbonated water and pure cane sugar are the fundamentals of our beverages.  They are prepared with utmost care.  Guaranteed to be absolutely pure, healthy and nourishing.  Modern machines and sterilzed bottles insure cleanliness."    Great graphics with a stalk of celery and multi-sized fonts and colors.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.  An 3/16" nibble on the back of the spout and light staining at the bottom.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A stone ping on the back and a 1/2" drying/firing line at the base in the making.
