Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Milk Bowl made for "Freeman & Ayers, Grocers."  
 
It was likely made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey run by the Fulper family from 1860 to 1928 (For more information on this pottery, see M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).
 
This beauty features a Small 1/2 Gallon Size, Squared Rim, Tapered Sides, and Two Lines of Bold Cobalt Script Advertising.  Measures 4" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 3/8" chip on the rim in the back. That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
