Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar with Bird on a Branch.
 
It was made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey run by the Fulper family from 1860 to 1928 (M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).
 
This beauty features a Folky Bird on a Branch Decoration Poised on a Creamy White Glaze.  Stands 11" tall.   
 
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip on the inner lid-seating ledge, and a 5/8" chip on top of the rim.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
