Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Tanware Jug that reads, "S. T. Suit, Suitland, MD. Little Brown Jug.  The Whiskey in This Jug was Made 1869 and Jugged by Me 1880."  
 
This jug was made in New Geneva, Pennsylvania, known for its Tanware production.  
 
This beauty features a Brown Glaze and a Stencil on an Unglazed Background Typical of Tanware.  It features 7 Lines of Stenciled Advertising.  All the stenciling is crisp and complete.  Stands 7" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" glaze flake on the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
