Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware 3 Lb Pantry Jar.

It was made by the Red Wing Stoneware Company of Red Wing, Minnesota (1906-1936).  They came in 1, 3 and 5 pound sizes.  This is the 3 pound size (Dan and Gail DePasquale and Larry Peterson, Red Wing Collectibles, p. 139).

Made about 1920, this beauty features Two Top and Two Bottom Stripes that Frame a Red Wing, and a Lid Repeating the Two Double Stripes. Measures 4 1/2" tall and 6" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  The crock has a 3/8" chip on the bottom edge in the back.  Otherwise, as made.  The lid has a 1/2" chip on the handle and chipping around the underside of the seating-ring, some of which was in the making.
