Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most uncommon 5 Gallon Churn Lid made and stamped by the New York Stoneware Company.
 
This company was in production in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.  I have not encountered a stamped lid from this company before.  
 
This lid is 7 3/8" wide.
 
Good Condition.   A 1/2" chip inside the dasher guide, and a half dozen chips around the top edge as shown.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
