Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Merchant Jug made and stamped for "John Kiely, Liquor Dealer, 391 River St., Troy."

Circa 1880, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Very Large and Exuberant "2" Capacity Number as the Decoration. The "2" is composed of a Dotted Vine that Morphs into a Striped Leaf at the bottom. Stands 14 1/2" tall.
Good Condition. Chips on the left side of the spout, wear to the cobalt, and staining from use. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
