Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual 2 Gallon Midwestern Jug with Alligator Glaze.
 
Circa 1890, this beauty features a Brown Glaze that Fired to Look like Alligator Skin.  Very purposeful for a very unusual effect.  Impressed with an "F" on the back bottom.  Stands 12" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A pinhead-size nibble on the spout, a 1/4" chip on the platform that looks to be in the making, and a 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
