    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock Crock from the Midwest.

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty features a Semi-Squared Rim, Applied Handles, Two Types of Capacity Numbers (Roman numeral on the left and Arabic numeral on the right), and a Large Fancy Tulip in Bright Cobalt.  The tulip has 9 leaves and a blossom with six petals and a squiggly stamin in the middle.  Light gray glaze with bright cobalt for an eye-pleasing contrast.  Measures 10 3/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 1" surface craze line under the blossom and wear 1" up around the base.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The chip on the front rim is in the making and glazed over.
