Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very fine 1 Gallon Pitcher from the Northeastern USA.
Circa 1870, this beauty features the classic form of a Tooled Rounded Rim, Pinched Spout, Sloping Neck, Bulbous Body, Applied Handle with Cobalt at the Terminals, and a Brushed Cobalt Floral with Three Blossoms. Bright cobalt on a light glaze for strong contrast. Stands 9 7/8" tall.
Excellent Condition. A narrow 3/4" surface ping line at the base (closeup). That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
