Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jar.  
 
Dating around 1830, this beauty features an Early Ovoid Form, the Capacity Number Stamped 5 Times on the Rim, and a Drape and Tassel Decoration in Bold Blue.  A very simple, but striking decoration.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Five chips inside the rim (1/8" to 5/8"), three chips outside the rim (1/8" to 3/4"), four chips at the base (1/4" each), and a 1" hairline from the rim to the right handle in the chip there.  No stains or restoration.
