Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this early Ovoid Pot from the Northeast.
Circa 1850, this beauty features a Low and Bulbous Form with a Grooved Rim for Ease in Tying a Cloth or Waxed Paper Over, and a Freehand Looped Stripe under the Rim with Two Swirl Flowers Below. Cinnamon coloration. Measures 7 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide across the top.
