Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Most Unusual 3 Gallon Crock with Folk Art Floral.
 
Dating around 1870 and coming from the Northeast, this beauty features a Whimsical Flower with a Wide Blossom Atop Three Leaves.  Lots and lots of dots and dashes!  The skilled decoration fills the entire front with carefully applied cobalt done with a slip cup.  Measures 10 1/4" tall and 10 3/4" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 1/8" nibble on the rim and some very small and light stains.  That is it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Exceptionally clean.
