Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Ovoid Jar from the Northeast.
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features an Ovoid Form, Tall Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accents at the Terminals, and a Large Brushed Cobalt Tulip with Three Leaves and a Blossom with Three Petals. Measures 13" tall and 9" wide across the top. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Five chips inside the rim (1/4" to 5/8") (closeup), two minor nibbles outside the rim (1/8", 1/4"), a 1/2" chip on the left handle, and two 1/2" chips on the right side near the base.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
