Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Ovoid Jar from the Northeast.
Circa 1830, this beauty features a Ovoid Form, Tall Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent at the Terminals, and a Bright Brushed Cobalt Tulip. Pleasing contrast of the medium gray glaze and the bright cobalt decoration. Measure 9" tall and 7 1/2" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A narrow 1/2" chip inside the rim and on the base edge. That's it! No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
