Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Ovoid Jar made in the Northeast.
 
Dating around 1830, this beauty features an Ovoid Form with a Plant Decoration.  The plant has 2 stems, one of which has 2 leaves.   The plant grows out of some ground cover.  The cobat is bold and beautiful and also accents the handle terminals.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple nibbles and two chips outside the rim (3/8", 1/2"), a very narrow 3/4" sliver chip on the base, and some staining from use.  That's it!  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
