Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Jug made and signed by C. Lenoir.
Clearly this is a southern jug from the Carolinas, Georgia, or Alabama, but I cannot find this potter in any of my books.
The jug has age, perhaps the early 20th century. Stands 12" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind.
