Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusuual Yellow Ware Match Safe and Cigar Holder.
It is in the form of a Dog Impersonating a Dock Worker with Bundled Cargo and Bucket Surrounding Him. It is signed "JW" and dated '67 for 1867. Measures 6 1/2" tall and the base is 4 1/4" by 5".
Very Good Condition. A 3/8" line behind the dog (closeup), a 1/4" chip on the back right corner of the base, and a 3/4" chip on the inside of the base. Otherwise just come surface craze lines of age. No cracks, stains, or restoration.
