Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Script Jug made for "Warren A. Quinn, Trenton, N.J." 
 
It was made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey run by the Fulper family from 1860 to 1928 (For more information on this pottery, see M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).
 
This beauty features a Small 1/2 Gallon Size, and Three Lines of Bold Cobalt Script Advertising.  Stands 8 1/2" tall.    
 
Excellent Condition.  A flat 3/8" chip on the spout. That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
