Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Connolly & Palmer, New Brunswick, N.J."
 
This is the work of Thomas Connolly and Charles Palmer who ran the pottery in New Brunswick from 1881-1888 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 80).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Freehand Brushed Double Tulip in Strong Cobalt.  The floral has 6 leaves and two blossoms, one with 4 petals and one with 6 petals.  Stand 13 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.   A single 3/16" flake at the base.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Very clean!
