Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug.
 
The distinctive decoration indicates that it was made by Josiah Van Schoick and Ezra Dunn who ran their pottery in Middletown, New Jersey from 1853-1883 (M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 216-219). 
 
This beauty features a Delicate and Artistic Double Tulip Decoration on a Warm Gray Glaze . Stands 12 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Some faint staining on the back.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.   A stone ping on the front left and slight indentation on the front right in the making.
