Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "Stiner & Co., Newark, N.J."  
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features a Printed Script rather than Cursive Script.  Bold cobalt on a light gray glaze for a very pleasing contrast.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the right side of the spout and two faint horizontal hairlines in the handle (closeup).  No base chips, body hairlines or cracks, stains, or restoration.
