Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little Half Gallon Southern Pitcher.  It is attributed to Shimuel Timmerman of Lanier County, Georgia.

 

Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features an Exaggerated Flared Rim and Spout, Narrow Neck, Bulbous Body, and Brown-Green Alkaline Glaze.  Stands 7 3/4" tall.

 

Fair Condition.  A half-dozen chips on the spout from 1/4" to 1 3/4", most of which are filled in preparation for restoration.  A couple small nibbles on the base.  No hairlines, cracks, or stains (the 1 1/2" line seen to the right of the largest fill-in is on the outside only).
