Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Set of 6 Yellow Ware Soup Bowls in the Westward Expansion or Westward Ho Pattern.  

 

These bowls was made around 1925, probably in Ohio (Lisa McAllister, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book 2, pp. 9-11).

 

This beauty features an Embossed Border Celebrating the Westward Expansion of the United States.  Around the edge are Native Americans, buffalo, covered wagons, campfires, cowboys, and cavalry flags. Rich pumpkin coloration.  The center features two birds resting of floral branches.  Measure 8" across and 1 3/8" deep.

 

Exceptional Condition.  One minor nibble on the underside of one bowl (closeup).  Otherwise, as made.  The set does not appear to ever have been used.
