    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Masterful Little Lidded Jar signed by "R. and B. Diebboll, Washington, MI."


    This is the work of Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality and prices continue to rise.


    This beauty features a Tooled Rim,  Pottery Stamp, and an Anchor Wrapped in Rope atop the Waves.  The decoration is very detailed and applied with a slip cup. Salt glaze finish.  The lid is stamped on the bottom with the little Diebboll bird.  Stands 6 1/4" tall. 


    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
