Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Masterful Stoneware Bowl signed "Diebboll."
This is the work of Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality and prices continue to rise.
This bowl is from the earlier period of production in which the signature is incised.
