Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "E. McDevitt, 285 So. Orange Avve., Neewark, N.J."  
 
McDevitt commissioned this jug from the Fulper Pottery in Flemington, N.J.  I cannot find this jug listed anywhere, so I am assuming that it is uncommon. 
 
Circa 1900-1920, this beauty features the Little 1/2 Gallon Size, Platform Shape, and Four Lines of Bold Cobalt Script Advertising that Fills the Front.  Stands 9 3/8" tall.
 
Good Condition.  A 3/8" chip on the left side of the handle, four chips on the platform (1/4" to 3/8"), three chips on the bottom/underside (3/8" to 1"), and overall darkened crazing.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
