    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Pair of Ink Bottles made for Day and Martin Ink. 

     

    Dating from the the mid-19th century, the taller bottle has the company name stamped at the bottom.  The smaller bottle bears the original label that reads, "Day & Martin, 97 High Holborn, London.  Imported and Warranted Genuine by L. A. Dickson, Boston."  They measure 6" and 5" respectively.

     

    Excellent Condition. The taller bottle has a 1/2" flake chip on the bottom of the left side.  Otherwise as made.  The shorter bottle has some dried ink inside at the bottom and expected wear to the label.  Otherwise as  made.
