Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "C. Haidle, Union Pottery, Newark, N.J."  
 
Conrad Haidle and his partner, John Sonn, ran this pottery together in Newark from 1871-1875 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 82).
 
This beauty features the Oval Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Two Large Brushed Cobalt Tulips. Stands 11 1/4" tall.
 
One of the prettiest pieces by this pottery that I remember ever seeing. 
 
Excellent Condition. Some small stains on the shoulder. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
