Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot.

The decoration is distinctive of Daniel Shenfelder who made pottery in Reading, Pennsylvania from approximately 1860-1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 24-26).

This beauty features a Cream Pot Form with Tooled Rim and Rounded Body, and a Brushed Freehand Tulip Decoration. The tulip is the Shenfelder design of 5 base leaves and a blossom with 4 petals. Measures 7 3/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top.

This is one of the best examples of this decoration that I have seen in ages.  Strong cobalt and vibrant contrast.

Excellent Condition.  Some scratches inside and wear on the rim from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
