Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Mug.
 
Circa 1880-1920, this beauty features a Tooled Footer, Ridged Strap Handle, and Two White Slip Stripes. Warm yellow coloration.  Measures 3 3/4" tall and 4" wide across the top.
 
A similar mug can be seen in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I, p.51.
 
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind.  A faint, narrow partial glaze skip above the stripes one side (closeup), and a stray daub of brown slip-- both in the making.
