Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Stoneware Crock from the Midwest.  
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features the Freehand Capacity Number and a Butterfly Decoration Created with a Slip Cup.  The wings of the butterfly are all accented.  Measures 14 1/4" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition. A flat 1/2" flake inside the rim, a surface-only craze line behind the left handle (closeup), and overall light staining from use.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
