Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Stein with Lid.

The lid is etched on the top with the name "A. Dauer." There are two other names and a masonic symbol faintly etched that are secondary to the manufacture.

This beauty features a Two Debossed Cobalt Stripes with Cobalt Fill, and a Hinged Lid with Fancy Finial.  The final is an elf-like figure holding a pint of ale while sitting on a barrel of more ale.  The pottery is 5" tall and the entire stein is 7" to the top of the elf hat.

Excellent Condition.  The stoneware is as made with typical manufacturing imperfections. The lid has a small indentation on the overhanging portion to the front right as shown.
