Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Bowl from New Jersey.
 
Circa 1835, this beauty features a Squatty Ovoid Form, Inscribed Shoulder with Tall Neck, Applied Handles, and a Brushed Cobalt Drape and Tassel Decoration in Bold Cobalt.  Measures 9 1/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.  
 
Good Condition.  Trace water glass staining inside, three chips inside the rim (1/4" to 3/4"), some nibbles and four chips outside the rim (1/4" to 3/4"), and a faint  2" horizontal hairline above the left handle (closeup).  No base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge in the making and glazed over.
