Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "A. Amsterdam, 78 Prince Street, Newark, N.J."
 
Armstrong had this jug made at the Fulper Pottery in Flemington, N.J.  
 
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features the More Uncommon 1/2 Gallon Size, Platform Shape, and Four Lines of Cobalt Script.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  Three chips on the spout (1/4" to 3/8"), a chip on the platform (3/8"), three flat chips at the base (1/4" to 1"), and overall fine darkened crazing.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
