Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Stoneware Crock with Bird on a Branch.

It was made by the Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey run by the Fulper family from 1860 to 1928 (M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).

This beauty features a Large Size and a Folky Bird on a Branch Decoration Poised on a Creamy White Glaze. Measures 12 1/2" tall and 13 1/2" wide across the top.

The largest Fulper crock that I have ever seen.

Excellent Condition. Very light staining at the bottom.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some scattered stone pings and a short surface drying/firing line on the back at the bottom (closeup) in the making.
