Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Mermaid Flask. 
 
Such flasks were popular with sailors in the mid-19th century for their "spirits." 
 
I find it interesting that the mermaid's face and head look like Queen Victoria in her head attire.  Also, how is it that the top of the fish scales is fancy embroidery? I detect there may be more to the story here.  Measures 7 1/2" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A kiln touch near the base of the tail on the front at the bottom hairline on the back in the making.
