Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Creamer in the Castle or Monastery Pattern. 
 
This beauty sports a fishscale background with Winding Road in a Forest Leading to a Castle or Monastery on a Hill.   Brown Glaze with White Interior.  Stands 4 5/8" tall. 
 
This piece is described in Terry Taylor and Terry and Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. 26-27.  It is typically found in blue and rarely in brown.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light staining inside at the bottom.  Otherwise as made.
