Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Blue and White Bricker's Cookie Jar. Brickers are small cookies popular in Pennsylvania.
This piece is featured in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p 187.
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features the Stenciled "Cookie Jar, Brickers" on the Front with Diffused Blue Coloration. Measures 7 1/4" tall and 8 1/2" at its widest.
Excellent Condition. An minor 1/8" nibble on the lid seating ring inside, and a narrow 1/2" chip on the front at the bottom. That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
