Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Wonderful Staffordshire Spatterware and Transfer Plate
 
It dates to the Mid-19th Century and was imported from England (Earl F. and Ade F. Robacker, Spatterware and Sponge, pp. 110-111)
 
This beauty features a Blue Spatter Edge, and Brown Transfer Federal Eagle with Shield.  The eagle clutches three arrows and the shield bears thirteen stars.  Measures 9" in diameter. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Modest utensil marks, and small stain in the backside.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
